The elementary school for our community is Newington Forest Elementary School and the Middle and HIgh School is South County Secondary School.

Newington Forest Community Association
The Newington Forest Community Association (NFCA) is like a small city run almost entirely by volunteers. Every owner and resident is a member of the NFCA.

The Association and all residents are governed by the Covenants and By-Laws contained in the Newington Forest Community Association Governing Documents "Green Book". You should have received a copy at closing. If you did not, additional copies are available under the Resource tab, Rules & Regulations page.

The Association is managed by a seven member Board of Directors. The Association duties include maintaining the common grounds and streets in our community, enforcing the Covenants and By-Laws; maintaining and operating recreational facilities; providing services such as trash and snow removal; and preserving and protecting the property values of our community. The Board members are elected to one year terms at the annual meeting each February. The names and phone numbers of the current Board members and committee chairman are listed on the Contacts page of this website.

The Community Manager handles many of the daily operations of the community. The office hours are 9 AM - 2:00 PM Monday through Friday. You may also call the office, (703)451-8563 and leave a message on our voice mail. The Association Office is located at 8201 Southrun Rd., Springfield, VA. 22153.
